(Photography: Taletrails) Situated in the 12th floor of a bustling apartment complex in Nerkundram, we were presented with an interior project with a relatively short deadline.
Our task was centered around the idea of synthesizing a vibrant ambiance for the dwellers, where the emphasis was on living and dining areas. The clients expected a markedly understated tone for the bedroom spaces.
While the majority of our design elements were decidedly contemporary, we were tasked with integrating some of the classic furniture that the clients already possessed. We revamped the furniture with upholstery, polishing and detailing elements that better fitted the tone and texture of the overall design palette, thereby creating a seamless, homogeneous collision of the vintage and the contemporary.
